As promised, I will be sharing my in-depth and fascinating conversation with a legal professional about the judgement on an application to proceed against Trudi Warner for Contempt of Court. The judge ruled in her favour helping to confirm the principle of Jury Independence - but not without, it seems, some obfuscation and confusion along the way!
This is an introductory video explaining the fascinating conversation I will be making available this week. We will be getting into the awkwardness demonstrated by the establishment over this very central issue and some further more sophisticated areas such as the 'tension' between the juror's oath and the following of their conscience, whether citizens should be told of their right to judge the law and why this case was 'played-down' despite its high profile. And more!
IMPORTANT: The conversation itself (probably in two parts) will be unlisted on Youtube - meaning not searchable and essentially invisible. This means that in order to access these videos, you will need the Youtube links from me. To obtain those links, I am asking people to contact me expressing, in two or three sentences, why you think it is important and why you would like to hear the conversations. I will then send you the links.
You are welcome to contact me anytime from now but the conversations will not be available until later this week.
