A Series on 17th Century English History - with Damien of 'TheRealMagnaCarta1215'

I am delighted to have been asked by Damien Lepts to join him on the making of a series of videos exploring 17th century history in relation to the Constitutional Rule of Law.

This will be an important series of videos stepping through the 17th century and highlighting the key events and characters that influenced English History at that time specifically in relation to Law and the Constitution.

This first part deals with the first of the Stuart Kings, James I - who succeeded the last Tudor Monarch Elizabeth I. Part 1 tells the story of, among others, Richard Bancroft, Sir Edward Coke, Sir Thomas Egerton and Francis Bacon.
